1. Ayat-ayat cinta

 What I like is the story which is romance but wrapped in Islamic.  The most interesting plot for me is on page 92 which tells about the beginning of Fahri and Noura's meet up.

 2. Laskar pelangi

 I really like the plot of this story.  This film is filled with stories about the marginalized, and stories of life's struggles to reach heartwarming dreams, as well as the beauty of friendship that saves human life, against the backdrop of a beautiful island that was once one of the richest islands in Indonesia.  In chapter 1, the story begins when some of the characters meet at school.

 3. Twilight

 What I like most about this novel is the character of Edward, he is a vampire and lives side by side with humans.  Edward is a rigid person, he often keeps things to himself and as a result he has a lot of self-loathing.  Despite being a vampire, Edward drank animal blood instead of human blood.

4. Beauty and the beast

 Belle is a character that I like, she lives in a small village whose residents don't like seeing people read books, while Belle is a person who loves to read books.  Belle's character is told to be very devoted to her father.

 5. Zikora

 The plot of this story is very complicated, I really like it. It started with Zikora having a harmonious family, suddenly it was destroyed because his father remarried to another woman and chose to live with his new wife.  Zikora was given a difficult choice by his father by asking him to choose between staying with his father or with his mother.  At that time he did not listen to what his mother suggested, he would rather follow his father's advice.  Until in the end she got pregnant out of wedlock with her boyfriend.  Since then he started listening to what his mother suggested.  (Page 27)

 6. Dear Nathan thank you Salma

 The character Nathan is one of the characters in this novel that I like the most.  He is a student who likes to make a scene at school, he is known as a badboy.  But when he met Salma he became obedient and rarely brawl.

7. Shrek forever after

 Shrek is a strong character in this novel, he is an ogre who lives independently in a territory close to ordinary citizens.  He had wanted to be expelled by residents because of his bad appearance, tall, big.  Even though he is far from his parents and also disliked by the people around him, he manages to get his own happiness by living alone.

 8. Looking for Alaska

 The storyline of this novel begins with Miles who chooses to transfer school to Culver Creek in Alabama. He has the principle that he must find the great perhaps in his life's journey before he dies.  The character is created by the writer as a quiet but intellectual man.  He loves a new challenge.  In my opinion, his hobby is strange, memorizing famous people's last words.  ( Chapter one hundred twenty-eight days before)

 9. Antares

 The character Antares is a strong character in this novel. He is the leader of the Calderioz motorcycle gang, nicknamed the 'Most Wanted Guy' at Derlangga High School. Apart from that, Ares also has a hobby of motorbikes and dreams of Calderioz becoming more successful

10. Surga yang tak dirindukan

The storyline of this novel is very interesting.  Where there is a man named Pras who has a wife and daughter.  One time he saw a woman who wanted to commit suicide, the woman was indeed experiencing stress because her ex-husband left her and finally she wanted to kill herself.  Pras, who saw this, intended to help the woman, but the woman wanted Pras to marry her.  Because Pras wanted to save the woman's life, finally Pras was forced to agree to her request.  Pras is a character made loyal to his wife and kind.  Arini, the wife of Pras, has a character who always believes in Pras, even though there are many infidelity tragedies around her, Arini believes that Pras will not be like that.

Based of the 10 story books above, in my opinion, the novels Ayat-ayat cinta and Surga yang tak dirindukan have several similarities in terms of stories,  the theme of polygamy.  In the story of the Ayat ayat cinta, the love story is thick with religious overtones, Fahri, who is devout to his religion, is forced to marry a girl other than his wife one day.  Likewise with surga yang tak dirindukan, which Pras did not miss, he was told by a loyal husband, but he was forced to marry a woman he had just met.

The next is Antares,Laskar pelangi, and also Looking for Alaska.  All three have the same theme, namely teaching stories in schools.  Antares tells the story of teenagers who study at a high school, it is told that the Antares actor has a gang.  Likewise in Looking for Alaska which tells stories at school and has friends or gangs.  Meanwhile, in Laskar Pelangi, it is told that a child has just entered school.
